healthspan for all
35+ million lives and counting
Healthspan is the period of life spent in good health, generally free from disease and disability.
Early stage healthtech venture capital fund investing in impactful health technology startups globally.
Our Mission
Healthtech investment is the key to extending healthspan for all.
Traditional healthcare is slow and ineffective. To radically extend healthspan for all, we believe healthcare needs to be exponentially more efficient and effective. Healthtech is leading this change.
Healthtech leverages technology to amplify the current health system. It connects and extends traditional health sectors with adjacent non-health sectors that easily reach billions.

Every camera can now be a medical device
Remi Koscielny, co-founder of Shen AI, announced that the Shen SDK has received CE-certification as a Class IIa medical device under MDR. This certification covers the measurement of blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate variability, and breathing rate. Achieving Class IIa status involved clinical trials, a full technical file, an ISO 13485-certified quality management system, and certification by TÜV Rheinland. The goal of the company, started with Przemek Jaworski, is to turn any smartphone into a health monitor to democratize healthcare access. With this regulatory milestone, the company is now moving toward scaling its technology for use in telehealth, Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and pharma sectors.

How eye-tracking tech in sports is helping athletes, referees and brain health
The article explores how advanced eye-tracking technologies and digital ocular assessments are transforming modern sports by offering a non-invasive window into the brain health of both athletes and referees. As collision sports and high-intensity competition face growing scrutiny over long-term cognitive wellness, traditional subjective evaluations are increasingly being replaced by objective, data-driven platforms. By measuring micro-movements of the eyes during brief tasks, these specialized technologies can rapidly assess neural processing speed, executive function, and working memory directly on the field or in clinical settings. Beyond injury management and concussion protocols, these eye-tracking platforms are being deployed to monitor the high cognitive workload borne by match officials and to optimize overall athletic performance. By establishing precise neurological baselines and tracking subtle variations over time, the technology helps medical teams, coaches, and sports organizations make safer, highly informed return-to-play decisions while ensuring that officials remain sharp and focused during critical split-second calls.
